Can I get a free trial before I decide to buy?
Absolutely. We do offer all new customers a 30-day free trial with their purchase. This is more than enough time to get everything setup and a feel for the platform and how it works. However, be careful to make a decision too fast as all marketing tends to take time to see real results.
Are there any discounts available?
There are co-op discounts available with participating in Smokin Brothers Early Buy purchase programs. Reach out to them directly for more information.
What if I don't have a customer list or the information is very old?
This is OK and very common in our industry. Even if starting from scratch, having the ability collect customer data and a place to store it for use is invaluable. All customer lists, are thoroughly cleaned and validated before importing into the platform to minimize bounce rates and protect your domain registration.
Will I be able to eliminate other software tools?
It is hard to say for sure, but that is definitely one of the goals of Smoke Signal. We hope to give you state-of-the-art tools all in one place while also allowing you to reduce your monthly investment in current tools. This is best determined after Smoke Signal has been launched for your business.
Are there additional costs beyond the monthly/annual fee?
Great question and thank you for the chance to clarify. There are additional "transaction" based fees but they are extremely small. Below are examples of the fees:
Text Messages - $0.0042 per 160 character segment

Does anyone else have access to my customer data?
We believe very strongly in the privacy of customer data. Every customer of Smoke Signal is separated into their own instance of the tool so there is not sharing of data. While or team executes sends on your behalf, no customer data is extracted from the platform.
Will I be able to review and approve what is sent to my customers?
All monthly emails and weekly social media posts will be pushed to your Smoke Signal account for review and approval prior to going live.
Do I have to give you login information for my social media accounts?
No. You don't want to give us that and we don't want it. Once your account is setup, you will connect your social media accounts yourself.
